Proton persona review

A Comforting Persona PDF Print E-mail

Being the top of the range variant, you can expect to find a few extra luxuries that will no doubt make life easier behind the wheel of the car.

HAVING dispelled the notion that it is a mere stretch of the Gen2, the Proton Persona has managed to shine by coming out second to the Saga as Proton’s top seller last month.

Moving away from Gen2 territory, the Persona has proven to be a winner with the family crowd that demands something more comfortable, spacious and convenient.

The top of the range Persona SE comes with a few cosmetic extras that will appeal to the younger members of the family.

Cruise control is now available, making the long balik kampung drives much less strenuous on the right foot.

Not only is leather nicer to look at, it is much easier to remove stains from, something common in a family-oriented vehicle as kids are not the tidiest lot.

Fine leather finds solace on the steering wheel with audio control, gear knob, door trim and seats as well. Not only is leather nicer to look at, it is much easier to remove stains from, something common in a family-oriented vehicle as kids are not the tidiest lot.

Finishing off the interior is a new combi meter layout as well as a GPS navigation system.

The GPS system is detachable, making it convenient to be carried around or even if you want to keep it out of prying eyes for safety's sake.

Adorning the outside is a new body kit as well as 15-inch alloy wheels.

Black bezel headlamps and matte painted door handles round off the package exteriorwise.

Having had the car under our tenure for a reasonable amount of time, the Persona SE started to show its prowess as a family mover.

The 430-litre boot was convenient to stow everything from luggage to the kitchen sink.
